Mendelssohn – Two analyses

Categories: , ,

This folder contains two short analyses: one of The Hebrides Overture / Fingal’s Cave to demonstrate the use of Sonata Form and the other of the Slow (Second) movement of Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor, to illustrate how Mendelssohn uses the Solo violin in an orchestral setting.

Each is suitable for both GCSE and A Level as well as for general reading.
