Description

This is an arrangement of a Traditional Irish Folk melody for Clarinet Quintet. Part of the aim of this arrangement was to ensure that each instrumental part shared the melody at some point.

The indicated MM = 94 might be considered to be just a little too fast for this melody and a slightly slower tempo adopted. While the Clarinet 1 part is the most challenging, the arrangement should be well within the capabilities of players of Grade 4 to 5 standard. It is a beautiful melody and is to to be performed legato throughout.

It is suitable for Ensemble playing, for a Concert or as a GCSE performance.
