Description

This is an arrangement for Brass ensemble of four traditional and well-known melodies from the North East: Keep your feet still Geordie hinnie, Bobby Shafto, The Blaydon Races and The Lambton Worm plus a short, slow Coda.

It is a variable arrangement in that it is open to a range of ensembles from two, melody and bass, to twelve. The sample page shows the full line-up, with Trumpet parts obviously playable by Cornets.

The words to the melodies will be really well known in most parts of the country and, if desired, any of the tunes could be repeated as many times as required to allow audiences to sing along, perhaps also varying the instrumentation for each repeat.
