Description

This second set of Traditional Hornpipes is also a “variable” arrangement, originally for Flutes 1 & 2 / Descant Recorders 1 & 2, Clarinet in C or Bb, Violins 1 & 2, Accordion / Piano / Guitar and Bass, though these can be adapted to suit the instruments available.

It is suitable for inclusion in a Concert, as part of the repertoire of a Ceilidh / Folk Band or as part of the Performing element for GCSE Music, where any rules on doubling must be strictly observed.

The Hornpipes are Harvest Hornpipe, Boys of Blue Hill and The Trumpet Hornpipe.
