Song for Janet arr. for Viola and Piano

This is an arrangement of my original Song for Janet for Viola and piano, instead of clarinet and piano. It occurred to me that the range and character of this piece would work well on the string instrument, albeit in the hands of a very capable player, as it goes very high.

The opening slower melody recurs at the end in this Ternary Form piece, the central section being much livelier.

It is intended for performance at a concert, though it would be suitable as an A Level Music submission as its technical demands are high.
