Description

This is an analysis of the First movement of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 in C major, one of the new Set works for AQA GCSE.

It covers the First movement in detail as well as giving some background information on the composer and brief comments on each of the other three movements.

It contains many musical quotations alongside the outline of the form and, in all cases, gives bar numbers.
